Carlisle Theatre's art deco marquee makes for a postcard-worthy downtown Carlisle snapshot.

The Carlisle Theatre serves as one of the icons of downtown with its flashing lights and lit marquee, creating a show-stopping spectacle on West High Street.  It's no wonder that it's become one of the most photographed places in downtown.  

Newly-wed couples often pose under the marquee and tourists can't stop themselves from stopping for a quick pic.  While the marquee makes a fabulous backdrop year round, it especially comes alive during the spring and summer, when the lamp post flower baskets provide an additional pop of color.  As an added bonus, the theater marquee can be rented, allowing marriage proposals, reunion announcements, and more to be on public display for your photos.
